Congratulations to our 2023 New Horizon School Graduates!! We are all so proud of your accomplishments.
The President’s Award for Educational Excellence is given to senior students whose hard work and efforts have enabled them to earn a GPA of 3.5 or above, and who have demonstrated high motivation, initiative, and integrity. This award includes a certificate and a pin and was awarded to Lyndsay, Danielle, and Jerrick.
The President’s Award for Educational Achievement is given to a senior student whose hard work and efforts have enabled them to accomplish goals and achieve success. This award includes a certificate and a pin to acknowledge this student’s achievement in school and was awarded to Joey.
The Washington Principal’s Scholars Program award is presented to an outstanding student who leads their class in academic achievement–Jerrick. Jerrick earned this year’s top GPA of 3.96. Jerrick also was our 2023 scholarship recipient of $500.
Each of our graduates also earned the Administrator’s Certificates of Achievement. The first recipient, Joey, is an individual who goes above and beyond by trying to help others feel happy and by having a great sense of humor. The next recipient, Lyndsay, is a student who goes above and beyond by always being determined, working, hard, and persisting, even when things get difficult. The third recipient, Danielle, is a student who goes above and beyond by committing herself fully to her great love of musical theatre. And the final recipient, Jerrick, goes above and beyond by being a positive influencer at school.
