POSITION AVAILABLE:
CERTIFICATED TEACHER

New Horizon School is seeking a certificated teacher for the 2008-09 school year. The new teacher must have empathy for and a genuine interest in developing positive education experiences for middle school and high school students with learning disabilities and attention deficit disorders. Teaching responsibilities will include (at a minimum) math, reading, writing, and an elective class.

Required Qualifications	o Valid Washington State teaching certificate
	o Ability to serve as case manager for up to twelve students with individual needs
	o Positive communication and teamwork skills
	o Effective organization and time-management skills

Desired Qualifications	Special Education endorsement & experience

Salary	Per NHS salary schedule (dependent on experience and education)
