NHS Archery Team

Team History / Goals
New Horizon School’s archery program started as an intramural sports club in the spring of 2002 with 28 participants ranging in grades 6 through 12. Both high school and middle school teams follow the Washington State Archery Association’s tournament schedule for the winter, spring and summer seasons.
Through participation in our program, student archers learn self-discipline, responsibility, sportsmanship and confidence in a team setting. High school archers may also earn varsity or junior varsity letters if they fulfill all achievement, participation and academic requirements.
It is our hope that the students at NHS will someday compete interscholastically against other high schools and middle schools in Washington State.
